Tuesday Update

Hola amigos!

Weston's Lipase level went down today (Praise God!), but his Amylase level went up a little bit. Both are still a little high. Dad said that Weston's been drinking Ensure like their ain't no tomorrow which is awesome because it shows his appetite is coming back and his pain level has gone down. He didn't have any pain medicine all night and all morning! He also walked to the playroom and played Wii for TWO HOURS today! They had to kick him out so other kids could come in. Ha! I'm so thrilled that his energy level is back up and he seems to be feeling better. Now, if we could just get those counts down!!!

We are waiting on a bed to open up at UNC. UNC has a fellowship for GI Pediatricians where as Greenville (Eastern, NC for that matter) only has one GI Pediatrician. So I'll keep you updated on that.

For now, we just praise God that he's mentally and physically feeling better! Keep praying that his counts go down so he can try solid foods!
